Lasswell is shown to be a kind of quiet individual. He is, nevertheless, an ambitious young man ready to offer blood, toil, tears and sweat to reach his objectives and achieve what he wants. He's not interested at all in glory nor looking for any kind of recognition, he's doing everything in his power to be proud of himself. If someone entrusted him with something, Lasswell will work twice as hard to be successful. Having the heart of a warrior, he will keep his spirits up and will learn of every mistakes he has done. It's also why he's ready to go that far for his beliefs. Some people are showing sympathy and respect for him thanks to his strong spirit. Nevertheless, Lasswell is not a man to rush headlong even if sometimes the need is really strong: He's a wise one who is using his experiences and knowledge to be able to deal with the future to come. He doesn't like nasty surprises and thus, he tends to be far-sighted, just in case the situation might slip out of hand. Being able to avoid useless mishaps makes Lasswell looks like a responsible man, and that's what he is, in fact. He is a serious one and he is always taking into consideration his choices' and actions' consequences. He is also always fully assuming what he choose or did, even if it leads him to do mistakes: Only people who did nothing with their lives can do everything the right way. He always tries to leave his entourage out of trouble when things are getting out of control.
Despite his looks giving off a cold vibe from him, Lasswell is a kindly man who is always keeping out a watchful eye for his closest ones. He's always there to listen to them if they need anything, he wants everyone to be happy and to live in a place where everything is safe. While he doesn't mind people coming for him when they need, Lasswell isn't someone who will rely on someone to do something. His way of thinking is that if he wants something, then he will gets it by himself. If you want something done, do it yourself. That's why he never asks for favors and usually manage to answer to his needs by himself. Lasswell's self-reliance doesn't stop him to bond with people, quite the opposite, people tends to think that if he is able to take care of him by himself, then he could help them out without being bothered by what they might ask. Seen as someone straight and honest, while he can forgive people for their faults and help out those who wants to redeem themselves, he still is known to be a strict man, having his character hardened by his principles. Lasswell will not wipe the slate clean everytime. There's still limits and sometimes, receiving his forgiveness might be a tough task. He is no man to be corrupted, even less by dishonest pleas.

Uprightness is a must-have for him, he thinks that as long as people are trusting you, the least you can do is to be honest with them, but more importantly, with you first. Lasswell always had been a rigorous individual, being both on himself or on people, he is always clear and accurate, expressing what he might think as it comes. It's not unusual that his way of speaking his mind hurts his entourage, he admits that being somewhat tactless is a bother and would like to make his life easier if he could learn how to be more considerate with his peers. Sounding like he is twisting the knife in the wound while he wanted to cheer someone up after they messed up is quite frustrating. Fortunately, no one holds grudges against him since it's due to his tactlessness and not of ill will. However, if Lasswell can use weaknesses and mistakes from someone he holds a big grudge on, he will be more than happy to slap every little embarrassing detail into that person's face. Do not get on his bad side otherwise he will be bitchy.
Seeing that Lasswell can turn into an heartless bitch to his worth enemy might frightned out potential acquaintances. He usually ignores people who are looking down on him unless they are rubbing him up the wrong way. His patience level is only average so, he might get on his nerves swiftly. Being of a reserved nature, he often sends out asocial vibes and the feeling of coldness arising from him emphasize his inner insecurities. His main struggle is his self-consciousness, he is feeling like he is worthing nothing and will be staying a piece of trash despite his efforts. The trauma of enslavement had taken a toll on his confidence, he will always see himself as a thing that people can throw away once no more needed. Due to that state of mind, Lasswell can be considered as a fusspot since he can be extremely fussy as regards details, bordering on unwanted perfectionism. Anyhow, once he is into something, he will always want to finish it. He will put a lot of stubborness and while tenacity while working might be seen as a quality, he looks as stubborn as a mule.

Bottling up how he feels always had been an habit of his, thus he is not a skillful conversationalist. Especially when you don't know him well. Nevertheless, he always appreciate people trying to make the first step towards him, it's in those moments that Lasswell can be seen smiling slightly as a proof that he is glad that someone is ready to have a chat with him even if he is answering briefly or simply nodding. Sharing a silence with him is also a proof that he is liking you at least a bit. Otherwise, he would have already leave the spot he was on to go somewhere else to be alone. It's probably his worst habit, he always suddenly decide to go somewhere without warning anyone, leaving his entourage without any news from him for variable periods of time. He seems not to like to involve a lot of people in his business and seems to like to be alone dealing with what he might have in mind.
In a nutshell, Lasswell can be seen as an idol with feet of clay. He might look strong and acting tough, deep inside he is still broken due to his past. He is patching himself up slowly, afraid that someone might see his insecurities and using these against him. That's why he is building up a shield, wanting to prove that he is as good as anyone out there and cannot be discarded like a mere item. His past as a slave will still be haunting him for a long time and he needs to find something to fight for, to get stronger for, to die for. He needs a place to call it his home.

FAIRY TAIL

He joined the Fairy Tail Guild after fleeing from a slavery camp alongside Caesar, whom he met during their unfortunate stay. He's the son of a mage from the Magic Council, who had been missing since a few years which prompted his family to live in slums, located at the borderside of Fiore Kingdom due to financial matters. Lasswell was a former combat slave and is famous for his skills with a sword but also bare-handed: He could be able to fight equal to equal against Erza Scarlet. His magic is inspired of his late mother's one, which he adapted to his own fighting style; this magic can adapt easily to him and allows Lasswell to be extremely efficient on a battlefield. He had the bad habit to vanish suddently, without warning any of his closest ones, only to do jobs on his own as he dislikes involving people in his affairs. Lasswell is also Atlas' childhood friend, whom he met when he arrived in the borderline slums, but he lost contact with the latter after a slave roundup.

Lasswell is gifted with an ability to hold any weapon as if he knew from the start how said weapon worked, even if he never seen or used it before. He is somehow seen as a weapon master, with a prominent preference for any bladed weapon: Swords, katanas, daggers, etc. He can even turn everyday items into a weapon, such as a chair bar for instance.

Lasswell's affinity for magic is strong, so are his spells and others techniques related to it. He inherited it from his mother's side but his magic seems to be more proficient and combat-oriented than his mom's magic. He can warp through space using projectiles to teleport, create force-fields and can also emit shockwaves using the force of his mind. He recently learned to channel specific elements which echoes with his being, allowing him to use ice and steel elements into his fighting arsenal.

Due to his magic being active even when he's asleep, Lasswell had to learn how to save-up energy to be able to be reactive during the day. He started to take quick naps here and there as soon as he can and it helped him a lot to avoid suffering from the lack of proper sleep. His average cat-napping time is around ninety seconds and he usually sleeps in the weirdest places.

No one really knows where he learned this skill, Lasswell kept it for himself and people are way too surprised to even dare to ask how he did his trick. He learned this speciality alongside his mom during a job where she had no choice but to take him as well. Lasswell always had a tiny pouch containing a few hairclips, magic-infused cards and some iron barbs twisted in a particular fashion, which allows him to break into a building. Magical locks doesn't escape his hands, they are even weaker than regular locks to him.

Lasswell learned to hunt to be able to feed both himself and his mother upon their arrival within the slums. While his mom was at work, he would spent his day trying to get food. He is quite skilled but not as much as his friend, Atlas, who came back more often than not with bigger preys than him.
