A god fallen from grace.

One of the oldest gods to exist. Formerly known as the celestial god of the Sun and Fall Harvest, he's now known as "God of a Thousand Faces" due to the sheer amount of identities he's created and stolen throughout his lifetime. You must always be wary which holy being you speak to, as any of them could be the Blood God in disguise. To mingle with Decipher is to carelessly invite bad fortune into your life. It is recommended no one seek this god out, no risk is worth the cost.

"If I cannot be graced by the beauty of the Moon than I shall create a night of my own with the stars in your veins."

Decipher was created as a star, born from the night sky before any type of life was made. He was raised by a deity from his own dimension and another from a neighbouring one, though this would cause problems. He was seen as a false god in his own dimension, with accusations that he wasn't a god here, but rather a god for the other dimension. Angry, Decipher would cause conflicts between himself and other deities to prove he belonged here, and would even resort to killing lesser gods to prove his power. This resulted in an assassination of the Sun God, souring his relations to any of the immortals. A permanent grude formed in his heart when he reformed his physical body.

Later in his life Decipher would be banished for destroying worlds. He'd kill the god of the Moon in a fit of jealousy and would be cursed to become the god of Eclipse, a warped form of lycanthropy as a last effort ditch from the Moon to stop his madness. Unfortunately it would not work, as Decipher, now Eclipse, would cause his two homes to collide and would complete and uttery destroy them. A mass exctinction of angels and ther deities would follow suit, Eclipse devouring any being within his line of sight.

Centuries of torment left the world in disarray; time no longer existed in some areas and was completely reversed in others, the Sun never rose for eight nights and eight days, the rising of the moon was bloodied and caused magic to become tainted, and it was hopeless to pray to other gods for help, as they were too occupied fighting for their lives. This was until a handful of deities were able to trick Eclipse and encase him in a holy gold, sealing him for all eternity. This would last long enough for civilizations to begin to be rebuilt and adjust to the new world, a former shadow of itself. This makeshift peace lasted for many centuries, until an unfortunate soul rediscovered the golden god.

Decipher, now in a weakened state, would be released from his golden prison numerous times, stealing bodies from unaware mortals to travel throughout the world. His malice and vengence was like a raging fire, scorching everything in its path and massively destructive. Once caught for a final timr he would be put through a trial in the opposing dimension to pay for his crimes, and was permanently banished to an empty realm of his own that he could never hope the escape. To add salt to the wound, they bound his magic and took his wings.

"You who have spilled blood, must pay your way into the clouds with blood of your own. Be wary, darkness lurks within your heart. Should you fail to return life to the souls you took then the jaws of night shall consume your heart"

Given the curse of immortal reincarnation, Decipher was eager to attempt to live again. Yet he could not seem to grasp the warning Karma had given him, as each time he died an inky blackness grew upon his form. Colder than ice and with no feeling, it was almost as though his hand wasn't even there. It'd crawl up his arm and to his face as he continued to meddle, nearly consuming him entirely until he was stopped by someone strangely familiar. A simple glance, a chance out of the million encounters he could've possibly had. Their story is long, but he has regained some of his heart and is no longer blinded by blood.

Be wary of summoning the Day or Night, the two have become one. Twilight coloured eith the blood of the past, any who enter the realm of blood are said to never return the same.
