Blizzardkit was born into the clan of The Eye of The Abyss to his parents Ebonystorm and Swanheart. His prefix, Blizzard, was given to him by his mother Swanheart, due to his unique face marking, reminiscent of a raging snowstorm. Much like his father when he was young, Blizzardkit was a more reclusive kit, keeping to himself most of the time and usually only hanging out with Swanheart or Ebonystorm and occasionally with his grandparents. To Swanheart's dismay, Ebonystorm would often take Blizzardkit with him on long walks around the forest, where they would often explore. This sparked an interest in wandering in Blizzardkit, which he'd carry with him through life.
Apprenticeship
Upon reaching 6 moons of age, Blizzardpaw was placed under [placeholder]'s mentorship. Despite being one of the fiercest warriors in the clan, she was a mother herself, so even if she was strict, she was also very caring and understanding towards Blizzardpaw. His training went smoothly and nothing of note happened during his apprenticeship, aside from the death of the old leader [placeholder] and [Dead Omen]'s leader ceremony.
Warrior ceremony
Being the oldest and only apprentice in the clan who had finished their training at the time, it was time for his warrior ceremony. Before the ceremony itself, an apprentice has to go through a trial to prove they are worthy in the eyes of Starclan. This involves diving to the bottom of The Eye, which is a glacier lake not that far away from the camp. It is said that when the full moon hits the water's surface and the stars reflect at the bottom of the clear lake, a passage to StarClan opens in the depths of the icy waters and the spirits dance with the ripples and currents. Only the leader and the mentor, or a chosen member of their kin, are allowed to bear witness, though during the actual ceremony, nobody is to be present but the apprentice.
