Nathan is the newest reincarnation of the angel that guards heaven's gate. Although he's not the only one, he was the first who was tasked with that role which makes him - despite being the youngest member - the head guardian. Otherwise known as, The Gatekeeper. He's an extremely positive person, and maybe a bit too relaxed given the seriousness of his role, but it's this calm and always wiling to lend a hand attitude that makes him so beloved amongst his peers. Although he's gullible, naive, and too trusting, it's possible that his only true vice is his addiction to gambling - card games in particular. He always tries to rope his team into games whenever they have a spare minute, much to their amusement (or dismay), and luckily for him most are willing to humor him. Only a select few will encourage his behaviour by actually betting something, however.
