Juniper

Juniper was born as the strongest of her litter, a rare and genetically engineered species of cat; she and the rest of her litter were torn from their mother at a young age. After they were put up for adoption, Juniper was ripped away from the rest of her family.
She was put into a household until lost and put into a kill shelter almost immediately after, spending an alarming 2 weeks there at only 7 weeks old. Eventually she was picked up by a sweet grandmother named Addaline. She lived their happy lives there, hunting mice and pests and helping out on her farm wherever they could. Addaline and the cat became close, and with no grandchildren of her own, they became her beloved family.
After Addaline had a sudden death, passing overnight with Juniper in her hands, the cat fell into a grieving despair. The farm was later taken over, where the plants were covered with a harmful pesticide and machines that ensured the poor cat couldn't stay. She left, encountering a variety of dangers, such as badgers. June barely scraped by, becoming so dingy that no shelter dared touch her.
Eventually they stumbled upon Arietta, who took them in her small cottage and gave them the best of care. Arietta and June stayed together, traveling together to the Isles. Juniper arrived to ask Bunny, the princess, if anywhere a good crop could be planted. Juniper left to work on a faraway farm land left from the distant inhabitants long ago, and to carry on Addaline’s legacy through the Isles land. She arrived to find a very large plot of land ready to plant soil. She began planting fruit, beans, rice, and more favorites of the Isles.
Juniper named the place Strawberry Springs as it became more popular in the town. Arietta, living a small cottage in a not-too-far-away forest, loved to help set up the farmers market every month. She renovated a greenhouse that she made herself a cozy bed hanging from the ceiling, surrounded by plants. She would take a basket of that week's picked goods and import it through the forest and into town for the bakers.
She later ventured into nearby caves, finding a variety of shiny things. One day, she found a statue in one. She brought it out into the sunlight, only for it to come alive. Naming it Mosster, proud of her pun, she decided to show it how normal life went on. Eventually it learned to talk, and Juniper and Moss would accompany each other in everyday life. They would make each other flower crowns everyday, and moss eventually took on the tasks of watering the plants and helping import plants. She ended up finding two of her lost sisters, Suki and Sakura.
