No one's exactly sure how Lantana arrived to the forest. He came from a prestigious pet background and knows a LOT of rare or anarchic words, giving his cat family the same name aesthetics. In that same vein, he himself is not very smart and will use those words incorrectly.
Being an inexperienced leader, he will spend the whole day grooming himself to be pearly white and would prefer get other's to dirty their paws. He enjoys commenting on everything, even if it's not appropriate.
