Grendel

Grendel doesn't who or what his family was. His earliest memories are of being on his own. He doesn't really care about being abandoned as he doesn't recall anything about his parents. He spent a brief stint in an orphanage and attended school for awhile. He found more interest in stealing things and hacking so he eventually dropped out of school and left 'ran away' from the orphanage. He took well to being a street rat as his small size and ability to blend into a crowd helped a lot. Only recently was he caught stealing by Shane Blackwood when he was trying to steal something from the courier. He was surprised when Shane didn't take the typical actions against him instead calling him out on being a poor thief and saying he owed him. He stuck around to owe the other back as the whole notion was silly but found he liked living with the other. Both their professions were similar and they got along despite their beginnings. He officially lives with Shane now and holds the other in high respect as he is one of the few to catch him.
