History: Kha found Mangrove dehydrated and nearing exhaustion after an unexpected trip through aggressive human territory. The giant jontunn easily picked up the wasted gran and carried him like a cub to the nearest water hole, his giant strides carrying them across miles quickly. As a result for saving Mangrove's life, the gran offered Kha a place to call home after discovering the jontunn didn't have one. When Mangrove returned home with his new "son", the entirety of Sequoia was shocked, but everyone rallied to help build a space large enough for Khabane.

Kha's room is commonly the 'communal' room a lot of days due to the sheer space, but it is still his room and not the main open area - which is barely large enough for him, even after digging out the bottom.
