Eternal

Eternal is a traveller who left his home town many years ago after a spell that was supposed to heal his friend had killed them. It doesn't stay in the same place for long the majority of the time.

Eternal considers what happened punishment for anything bad he had ever done and his mother's hatred of him. As he took care of his dying friend he found a spellbook, taking it as a sign that he had to do the immortality spell on his friend, despite knowing he would be the one to die. Eternal regrets that day, and in his grief and self hatred decided he would never set foot in that town again. He lives his life feeling as though his mother's spirit knew this would happen, and it was her final laugh.
