Gatzbi

Cartographer, alive during the time before the infection. Lost in the stagways as a caterpillar, adopted by the stags when nobody came to claim him. He writes journals about the creatures he sees and other bugs he meets, and he can call a stag to him wherever he is with the bell on his neck. His armor was given to him by the stags and he wears it proudly. He's curious and friendly out in the wild or in the stagways, though a bit more cautious and shy in more populated places. 

He had a bit of a crush on Marissa, but he never got the chance to make anything of it. His maps, found faded by time by Cornifer, were what inspired the bug to take up cartography himself and explore the tunnels of Hallownest. Gatzbi's life was ended by a crystal hunter, deep in the Crystal Peaks where a stag couldn't come to him.
