Snapper

Before he was conceived, his parents angered an animus and they were cursed. When he was laid, his eggshell was bright red, and his father rejected him and gave him to the mudwings. He was the third to hatch in a clutch of mudwing eggs, and they decided to name him Snapper and accepted him as their sibling despite his differences. He cannot speak aquatic, but he often puts on light shows for young hatchlings. He's well liked among the younger population of mudwings though many of the older generation disapprove of him.

He is confident and friendly, though somewhat clumsy and quite stubborn. The fact that he's not a true mudwing doesn't bother him.k
