Oafish, clumsy, and ditzy, Shire isn't considered very intelligent by its peers and crewmates. It has a tendency of forgetting things, or dropping them, or just overall poor decision-making. Nevertheless, Shire does what it believes is right (of course, everyone is prone to mistakes) and does everything it can to help its friends. Even then, Shire is a little less than sociable and struggles with strangers. As most Anam Aerach, Shire's emotions are expansive and very expressive. Shire has a short temper and is almost always worrying about this or that. Its recklessness and allegience are its strongest points.

Shire is a character that I created in around 2018, when I was a freshman in high school. For those of you who knew me prior to 2018, you may remember Infinity, a spunky fox that I used as my fursona. However, for a long time, predating my freshman year, I'd grown disconnected from Infinity. She was still very important to me, and a character that I'll always cherish, but she didn't represent who I was anymore. After all, she was based off of my personality from when I was a 5th grader! Of course I'd changed in ten years. Case in point, Infinity just wasn't encapturing who I was. However, it wasn't until my freshman year that I began doodling a little utahraptor character in my classes. This little utahraptor went through a few different stages (see Kitten) until I evenutally digitialized it and gave it the green-and-orange two-tone color that I've become so familiar with. Shire was a placeholder name, but, like most placeholders, ended up sticking. Since then, Shire has represented me in every aspect, both within the canon of Miotais Deora and outside.
