Profile
Floating Baby is an enigma. With no memory of who she once was, she wandered the Earth as a blessing: the remnants of a once blessed human spirit that has unfulfilled purpose. Instead of working through the problems of her old life, she focuses on Rein and Sibyl and their quest for fulfilling a prophecy.
Over years of working together, FB overcomes her forgotten past and learns to love the present with her the only people who can see her. Feelings grow, and as the three of them grow and change as people, FB decides that these are the two of who she wants the spend the rest of her time with.
Despite her tiny size, FB has a lot of bite to her.
Prior to her ascension, she possessed a flat personality, having forgotten everything about herself. Her new personality develops, and she becomes hardheaded and mentally strong, holding her loved ones together.
FB spent an unrecorded amount of time wandering around a train terminal without her body. She's a "blessing," a fraction of a human soul infused with a miniscule amount of godly energy. This energy allows her to hop from person to person as she leeches off their energy as she tries to survive. Too bad the other blessings she meets chase her off, leaving her stranded and hungry.
Running into Rein and Sibyl, who are on the run, she tags along, noticing they possess the energy she needs to survive! Tagging along for their adventure, she's roped into a prophecy to revive the gods, and ends up becoming too invested.
After Rein and Sibyl complete the prophecy and become vessels for the gods, FB is left once again: stranded and alone. Instead of moving on, however, she holds onto the hope that they'll return for her and the Earth, which has been left in shambles. When they do come back for her, they invite her to become gods with them, and she wholeheartedly accepts.
Lifetimes pass, and the trio spend their immortal days with each other in the realm of gods. Now tasked with rebuilding the fallen civilization, they recruit over mortals to ascend while starting a family of their own. Rein and Sibyl confess their feelings for her and ofc she agrees and the three live happily ever after yippie!!
The Apocalypse is where things go horribly wrong for their happy ending. When her husband and wife go missing, as well as their youngest son, she's left mostly alone. Her sons fall to a strange sickness, leaving only FB and her daughter, Jolleen. The world falls into chaos, and as the last two standing gods, the mother and daughter work together to keep Earth safe.
She plays a pivotal role in the resistance as she acts as the head of communications. Being in charge of communicating between potential allies and rescue teams, she works hard. Everyday she prays that her family will be okay in the end.
- Floating Baby is what Sibyl and Rein named her, judging by her appearance. They, having the mindset of children, call her Floating Baby as a joke, but since she can't recall the previous name she once had, their joke becomes her new name.
- She's the oldest of the three. Sibyl is the youngest, and Rein is in the middle.
- Before becoming a god, she presented as a light blue, staying true to her deceased mortal form. Upon ascension, she changes into a purple, leaving her old life behind to live forever with Rein and Sibyl.
- Her appearance is based on her childhood interest in marine life!
- Often times, she has poor posture and hunched over. She's capable of standing up straight, but the floating has her curled up like a ball.
- The star in her head lamp are the orange colors from her palette. For the glow: it's a yellow-orange, lowered opacity, and the add filter.
- Her head lamp always glows. She can't really turn it off. The star inside floats freely inside.
- Sharp teeth! If drawn without cloak, refer to other pieces of art on her profile.
- Her antennae and tail are able to twist and turn.
- Rein and Sibyl made her cloak! It took them 20+ years to learn how to make it, but they wanted their wife to have nice clothes too!
