This man is destined to be A uhh.. star!

Nicholas !

19 ★ He/him ★ Train conductor

Tenma Tsukasa (天馬司) is a second-year student at Kamiyama High School. He is a member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime.
Tsukasa has bucketloads of confidence and loves to be the center of attention, although he easily gets carried away. A theater show he saw as a kid impressed him so much that he made it his ultimate goal to become the greatest star in the world. He's a supportive brother to his frail sister, Saki.

Personality

Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her.

Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble, blaming Nene for their first performance's failure, which leads to Rui harshly criticizing him.

Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing. In the An Ode for the Pure of Heart event, Tsukasa falls ill and is unable to show up to his part-time job. Despite being told to rest, Tsukasa insists that he go anyway as is his responsibility, and is only stopped after he physically collapses at the door upon trying to leave the house.

Background

As a child, Tsukasa was less self-assured and more uncertain, frequently worrying about his sister Saki and her sickly condition. Because of her illness, he has years of experience playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and practiced it often in the hopes that Saki would come back home soon and play with him. Ever since Tsukasa watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a child, he has dreamed of becoming the star of a world-famous show and making the world smile.

After failing his audition to become a performer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his original motivation was forgotten and replaced by the more egocentric goal of simply becoming famous. Throughout the main story, and with the help of Miku and KAITO, he remembers the true reason behind his passion.

Saki Tenma • Sister

Tsukasa's younger sister. Due to her poor constitution, Tsukasa always makes an effort to look after her, though Saki insists he worries about her too much. Tsukasa blames himself for not doing more to prevent Saki's friendships from becoming strained and is glad that they've managed to reconnect in the present. Tsukasa often shows off in front of Saki and her friends, much to Saki's embarrassment. Even now Tsukasa is still working hard to protect her friendships so they won't become strained again. At times, they both have a tendency to overwork themselves and fall sick.

Rui Kamishiro • Troupemate

Fellow group member and friend. Rui considers him an actor most worthy of the stage, while Tsukasa thinks he's awesome but crazy. The two are a well-known "duo of weirdos" at school and are sometimes called the "Weirdo Wombo Combo". Tsukasa proudly takes on any stunts and roles suggested by Rui, though often complains about them regardless.

Emu Otori • Troupemate

Fellow troupe member and a good friend. They work together to restore Phoenix Wonderland's Wonder Stage to its former glory, although Tsukasa initially thinks that she is weird and never listens to anyone. While he may get worn out by her hyperactive antics, they bond over their mutual desire to make people smile with their shows.

Nene Kusanagi • Troupemate

Fellow group member and friend. Nene thinks he's an idiot, whilst Tsukasa calls her the troupe's diva. Tsukasa has respect for her abilities as an actor and singer. They share the same exhaustion over Emu and Rui's antics.
