Hadley Kiddo

Calm, affable, hardworking and a perfectionist. Hadley is a person with endless curiosity and an endless thirst for knowledge about history, magic, and pretty much anything that surrounds them. They don’t like to get involved in other people’s business much unless it’s something worth researching, but they like to gossip about current situations with their closest friends often.

They are someone who spends most of the evening and night studying, researching or just reading a long informative book, leading to some tired looks the next day every now and then. Studies aside, Hadley likes to frequent calm and quiet places such as libraries, parks or forests, but that doesn’t mean Hadley is a boring person. He likes to join some parties once in a while, but they tend to leave earlier than most guests.

In conversations, Hadley is more of a listener than a talker, always keeping that polite demeanor of his. Still, there are moments where Hadley breaks that polite character to speak their mind when something bothers him, not caring about the outcome of their words.

Hadley was born in Amphail, in the plain of Waterdeep. Most of his childhood was pretty much uneventful, living in the outskirts of the village with his parents and his little sister, Julie Kiddo. His sister was born with frail health, Hadley always tried to give her as much support as they could, that being one of the many reasons behind Hadley’s eager interest to learn magic.

Hadley’s childhood wasn’t a lonely one, as he was really good friends with Dendrin, a dragonborn, and Will, a mysterious elf girl who lives within the Sword Mountain’s forest. He met them both under curious circumstances: They met Will one time they tried practicing magic in the forest and has been visiting them often since, and Dendrin one time he wandered inside the village and got lost and was saved by him after almost getting into a conflict.

As time passed by, the group grew, and they all started to chase after their ambitions. Dendrin moved to the city of Waterdeep in pursuit of becoming a skilled mercenary, Will remained in the forest and Hadley decided to join the prestigious university of Strixhaven. A lot of time and dedication was spent studying for the admission exam, an exam Hadley passed with flying colors as their grade was among the highest of his promotion.

Once he was accepted as a Strixhaven student, Hadley moved to the central campus’ dorms leaving his family behind in Amphail.

• Hadley always carries a d20 with him and rolls it to decide on things really often, they also talk about being a player character in a campaign in a joking manner.
• Hadley isn't fond of drinking but he can indulge in a glass of beer or two when they feel like it.
