Personality
Pops is always one to be selfless and put others before himself. Let it be giving them food, a place to stay for the night, or even doing his best to protect them from a crypt or 'evil tenant', he does his damndest to help and care for others. He also comes off as a very gracious man; always being courteous, kind, and all-around sweet to nearly everyone around him. Pops is very wise, showing his years of knowledge and experience through his many, many stories or by getting himself and others out of situations through conversation rather than physical violence.
Pops does his best to show himself as a soft person, as he wishes to gain the trust of those around him and not come off as a threat. But, this can sometimes cause him to look weak to certain tenants in the manor. He can also be very emotional, since he often doesn't try to hide his emotions, even if they are on the more negative side. Despite that though, he still tries to be light-hearted about most things. In most cases, it comes off as sweet and helps to give him more of the cheerful ‘grandpa image’ that he strives for. But, in more serious cases, it can sometimes look as him trying to push away the negativity that needs to be faced head on.
Pops is never one who wishes to show what he calls his ‘bad side.’ But, if need be, he’s willing to bring it out to protect those he cares for. He has the ability to be very manipulative and deceitful and can gaslight, lie, blame, and more to try and get someone off his back and away from others. He can also mislead others and give them false impressions of what they might’ve originally thought or planned. To add the cherry on top, he can be very crafty in these kinds of situations, and even in scenarios that deal with a more physical altercation. Most of the time, he’ll use his crafty side to cheat at simple things like a board game or a round of poker for the fun of it, but for more dangerous scenarios, he’s able to pick and choose his words in particular ways or use his surroundings to get what he wants.

"Nothing makes me feel better than a sweet pastry, a cup of rice pudding, or even a slice of fresh pie. All of it brings me such a spark of joy that I can't get enough of. Plus, I like to say that all the sweets I eat are what give me my sweetness, haha!"
Baking
"I don't know what it is, but something about baking gives me such a... wholesome nostalgic feeling. It just feels right to bake any recipe I learn or somehow remember. Baking with people also feels amazing- if not better than doing it alone. It's always good to cook or bake with company, I feel."

"Similar to my 'dislike' of the dark, needles have just always made me feel uneasy. I can go to the nurses office and get shots if I need to- no problem. I just uh, can't look at it. The sight of it always gives me the bad jitters."
