- He always wears a black face mask in front of other people so they wouldn't get weirded out/scared when seeing his pitch black mouth.
- Nero also doesn't talk much because he dislikes his abnormal mouth.
- Only comes to and wins touraments because Ra pushes him to, and cheers him on.
Nero is the younger brother of an infamous esper named Alyan- growing up he idolized his brother, but his brother eventually became a well known criminal who experimented on other espers. His brother left him alone at 14 so people would stop targetting Nero to get to him, but Nero still had to deal with many bounty hunters which left him very paranoid and anxious, and resulted in him locking himself in his own home. Only leaving a few times a week to go to a part time for rent money.
Eventually, a demon attacks Nero when he's walking home at night, and he uses his ability to defend himself- killing the demon within seconds. Ra, who was going after the demon, saw him take it down and declared that Nero was destined to become his best friend and rival, simply because their powers were "opposites" (he based this thought process off of comic books). Ra forces himself into Nero's house, ignoring the incredible filth that built up in it, and spends days forcing Nero to play video games and read comic books with him. Eventually Ra also rips off his face mask that he'd been wearing since not seeing Nero's face bothered him, and sees Nero's mouth curse. Ra gets incredibly happy and says something like "No shame in being cursed, a protagonist's friend would have to have something cool like that, y'know!" Nero warms up a little to him after that since it's the first positive remark he's heard about his cursed mouth.
Ra spends a month in Nero's home until a man named Ghita barges in to take Ra back and discipline him for ignoring his duties. wipwip
- His best friend is Ra, and Nero only goes outdoors if it's with Ra or Ghita.
- Nero sees everything Ra does in the best faith possible- even if he was giving someone a swirly he would probably think Ra was helping them wash their hair or they deserved it.
- Enjoys Ghita's company, and Ghita often visits to cook for him.
- Sees Ghita kind of like a big brother,
- Once a month Ghita and Ra go to Nero's house to have a little party~ Usually hotpot and scary movies :)
- He never leaves his house so he doesn't really meet others... the roaches in his home are his friends I guess
