During the years prior to becoming leader, Redstar was an easy-going and relatively friendly individual, often expressing prominent amounts of empathy for others around him. Though he was prone to easy suspicion, violence as a first resort was incredibly rare from him.
After becoming leader, Redstar lost the first eight of his lives in rather rapid succession━a fact that did not go unnoticed by his clanmates, nor the neighboring leaders. With a rapidly deteriorating mental state, Redstar became positive that oncoming violence would be impossible to avoid, and that everyone within proximity of him was somehow out to see him killed.
In unfortunate alignment with his paranoia, Redstar would eventually lose his last life to a fellow clanmate, and his deputy's brother. In the time prior to his death, he had become something of a recluse, often closing himself up in his den or avoiding being in close quarters with any other cat, and eventually going so far as to avoid Gatherings altogether.
With a primary coat of dark brownish-black hues, Redstar was previously named Redheart in reference to the splash of reddish markings over his chest. His markings are not symmetrical, though his chest markings do climb both sides.
Eye color is usually considered an amber-gold shade, but various shades of lighter brown hues are acceptable in different lighting.
- Markings do not have to be drawn perfectly each time, so long as the general location / premise stays the same.
- Opposing side markings can be randomized until a reference is made.
- Limbs are intentionally long / built intentionally lanky.
- Murdered by Thistleheart, brother to Oakfur, the last deputy while Redstar was leader.
- Helped raise Crowsharp, with mutual help from Oakfur. Though they were not romantically involved, they were incredibly close throughout Redstar's life.
- Oakfur and Crowsharp were two of the last cats Redstar trusted enough to be in close proximity with.
