"I think we both know that place wasn't ever really a home for the two of us."
Cloud knows her feelings for Scarlet run deeper than just their friendship, but she doesn't want what that could be to interfere with the independence she's fought so hard to regain. That unknown wasn't ever one she considered happening, and has to wrap her head around it before ever confessing whatever this growing feeling may be. To Cloud, Scarlet deserves something more concrete because of all she's been through. One day Cloud hopes thats her but for now she will stand at her side and relish in the intertwined friendship they share.
"You're my first and only friend from our home, isn't that funny?"
Scarlet feels a strong connection when it comes to Cloud because of their similar situations, and knows she wants their relationship to go further than just best friends. She just doesn't know how to go about it, but will always stand by Cloud as she promised to have the other's back and doesn't ever plan on breaking that promise anytime soon. She tries not to think about the consequences her curse will have in the future, only wanting to live in the present when it comes to being around truly her closest friend in her entire life.
"A quite personality but a good heart." Dalloven was one of the first people Cloud met that wasn't because of someone in her family, and she can almost always trust her to have a blunt but needed answer to anything she's struggling with. Even if it's not always what she wanted to hear, it's always going to be what she needed to hear. Even if she's not as close as she is with Scarlet or Tem, Cloud still values all the experiences she's had with Dall and won't trade her for the world.
"I'm sorry that my brother is a shit person." While Tem was dating Sky, Cloud grew close with her and ended up helping voice to Tem that Sky was being abusive and it wouldn't end well for her. She was hoping that she'd get away from him safely and find someone else. Nowadays, Cloud's part of her friend group and is extremely grateful and dependent on Tem and the rest of them, even if she tries not to be.
"You're the only good one left." Cloud was very close with Jake when they were kids, especially after their mother died. She depended on him because she had noone else to look up to, their father obviously wasn't going to do it with how preoccupied he was with Sky. She wouldn't trade Jake for the world and still loves talking with him, even if she's trying to make an effort to be more independent.
Cool sis
"I miss you." Cloud loved her mother. She loved that she looked just like her, loved that she shared the same ability as her, loved that they had similar personalities. Nowadays, she often thinks if there was anything she could have done, but the reality of it is that there was no way she could have prevented anything, since she was only a child and the youngest one of her siblings at that. All she hopes now is that she's proud of her, and that she's watching over her and Jake and even part of her hopes she's watching over Sky.
"I love you." Isidell loved Cloud, and wished she was able to protect her more. She was the youngest of the family, and when she died she was the most afraid of leaving Cloud behind. She hoped that Jake and her would take care of each other. She would be proud of who she is today, and who she's become friends with and how much she's healed and gotten away from the trauma that Damian caused.
"You were never a father to us." Cloud resents her father for everything he's put their family through. She's never blamed Sky for his actions to an extent, but she can definitely place it all on him. When he died, she felt no sadness and did not cry for him, and probably never will. She's glad he's dead.
"You're your mother's daughter." Like with Jake, Damian didn't pay much attention to Cloud. She was too much like Isidell for him to justify spending time with her, especially with how occupied he was with Sky.
