Saga had always known there was something waiting for them beyond the veil of their city-bound life. The cats of their district had not been so easily convinced, however, and their repeated scorn made Saga melancholic and reclusive. When the Gate was opened, Saga needed no convincing, and with them they invited a pawful of hesitant but trusting peers to a new life.

The quiet cat has swiftly accepted that they are the unspoken leader of their ragtag group, but even among friends, Saga finds it difficult to shake off the detachment that protected them from the militant skeptics that once shunned them. Every day in this new world makes it easier for them to accept their place in the village, as with so much to discover, there is little time for shirking cooperation.

Despite this, it is still common for Saga to vanish for days at a time, holing themselves up with books, plants, and scrolls, trying to squeeze every drop of arcane knowledge out of this new and strange world. They greatly appreciate all the things Dragon brings back for them to study.
