Iskander

"The Outcast"

no tie to the throne, though his parents were wealthy and powerful in their own right. Alissandre's predecessor Berast was unable to seal their abilities when he warded the dragon's magic. he thought it was a non-issue, as they seemed to be powerless when he wiped the others. He didn't notice that their power had only passed to their son, Iskander. Whispers of his parent's occult leanings and unnatural power over others would follow Iskander into young adulthood, when Alissandre was crowned and he found other's distaste for him grew day by day. 

Alissandre and Iskander were childhood playmates but as his power grew and she realized she would be a Regent who could not control him, she turned on him. He now resides in Ilvus with Lady Seine, who has been making a habit of collecting powerful creatures. 

Because of his magical ability, his Voice is very weak in comparison to others of his rank. Instead he can use the blood of others to puppet or control their actions. The power this grants him is addicting and he tries to avoid the temptation of blood. 

soft-spoken, his tone has very little inflection of emotion. he expects people to dislike him, or fear him, and where he once took pleasure in it he now finds it boring. "yes yes i'm a great evil get it all out." he's also grown past and accepted that people will always treat him differently. he has a very dry humor and hesitates to show pleasure in front of others. hard shell to crack, he neither craves nor doles out affection of any kind. he is not unkind, if he sees someone in need of helping he will do it silently, and leave before they can thank him. spends most of his time outside of the dragon kingdom, where people still don't fully accept him. probably likes to sit places where no one will bother him and pet cats, wouldn't embarrass him to be caught either.
