Bodhi is primarily a messenger. He delivers messages between Kaleidoscope and Marrows, but also delivers important messages to others on behalf of the two gods. Bodhi is also a shapeshifter. He can take many different forms in order to better disguise himself from mortals when necessary. Given how much time Bodhi spends in the mortal world, he has taken a role as guardian over the areas he commonly resides in. Fashion is very important to Bodhi. Being over 400, it can get boring wearing the same things. He finds joy in seeing the ways mortals fashion changes as the years progress. He likes to keep up with the current popular trends in the mortal world while making sure he outshines everyone else. He is the life of the party at mortal events and always has to have the spotlight on him. While spending time in the mortal world, he fell in love with a quiet cat by the name of River. While it is typically frowned upon to fall in love with a mortal, Kaleidoscpoe provides an exception for Bodhi and his partner. Bodhi always makes sure River is comfortable and provides everything she could ever need.
