Astra

Burnie Danvers aka Astra is a teenage superhero in Starlight City and one of the last remaining Astroians from the destroyed planet Astro. When she arrived on Earth, she was taken in by the family who previously adopted another Astroian who became one of Earth's greatest heroes Astro Man. Following the guidance of Astro Man and Legend League, she was taught the way of a superhero of Earth. Due to her excellent hero skills and heroism, she was trusted by the Legend League to form and lead the superhero division of young new generations "Young Legends".

In search of new members for the Young Legends, she found Eric Prower aka Energetic who is just so happened to be in the same school as she was. Burnie and Eric later became best friends in and out of their superhero missions ever since.

Before the series starts, Astro Man tragically died in a hero mission along with another superhero Phoenix Ranger. Since then Burnie has been dealing with the fact that not only has she lost her mentor, but she also lost the only person she knew that came from her home planet.

Being an Astroian, Burnie has the same powers as Astro Man. She can manipulate Astro Energy which allows her to enhance her strength and durability, blast energy beams with her hands, and propel herself through the air. Whenever she uses her powers, her hair will grow red which helps with hiding her identity but it's inconvenient when she activates her power accidentally.
