here’s the blurb: they’re a wealthy, french, changeling family. the head of the house, the father (47), served in the military and became highly decorated. he retired from the military by paying his way out so he could be home to help homeschool his kids: a son, timéo (19), and two twin daughters (8). the father, with the help of his intelligent wife (45) came up with innovative ways to improve torture methods based on science. they invented new tools and techniques to more effectively draw information from someone. he provides the military with these, thanks to a partnership with the king, and became even more loaded than he was before. he runs the house like a school, teaching his children his craft in order to pass it down to his son especially. the children know every way to make someone crack under pressure. even though the father and mother are warm, welcoming, and humorous, the children are more uptight and polite, showing upmost respect to the crown… much to the timéo’s dismay. he was sent to nightingale prep for a year to deal with his “phase” that sent him questioning the kings authority. his family watched him like a hawk in order not to ruin their business, and prays that the phase will never resurface. the father is like that one funny, sweet family friend to his business partners. the family’s default form is humanoid, but with jet black heads, neck, and parts of their shoulders. it appears like a dark bloodstain. this is the symbol of their family, and they take no form other than this.
