History:
Melefore travels all across the wasteland following in the footsteps of (and hoping to find) her brother, a prospector famous for exploring highly dangerous areas who had mysteriously disappeared years ago. He taught her how to survive off what little the land provided and defend herself - though she likes to avoid fighting, if possible.
Her appearance is the result of getting trapped in an irradiated cavern. It was her own fault; a stray bullet of hers missed a mole rat and struck a loose rock instead, inadvertently causing a cave-in. She survived in there for weeks, burning through her rations and sparingly using her pip-boy to break through the darkness. By some miracle she managed to find a few explosives on the long-dead corpse of a previous cave explorer and was finally able to escape... though she came out a little worse for wear.
But being a ghoul certainly hasn't dampened her optimism any. Though her eyesight has gotten a bit worse and she doesn't care much for small spaces anymore, she still loves to explore everything the wastelands have left to offer.
