Originally human, the woman who went on to become Evrelai was a young, angry, and jaded person living in a not-so-nice area of town and desperately trying to get her life back together. On the walk home one night, she spotted a group of men harassing a young woman outside of a bar, and decided to step in with a show of incredible fury and obscenely low self-preservation. While the men grumbled and left, they were soon to reappear and jumped Evre, leaving her badly beaten beneath a bridge to succumb to her injuries. Klovar, witnessing this, could see a tremendous wish to change the world and protect the downtrodden within her, coming to select her as their first Guardian. They harvested her soul and remade her anew, giving her the tools to make her wish come true--and, of course, cause a little mayhem on the way.

Mean purple people-eating machine. Really. She WILL bite you and it WILL hurt. Evre holds on to her anger at the world and her pessimism comes in spades, leaving her as one sour grape. She often presents herself as aloof and sarcastic, with wit dryer than a desert and a look that could kill. She's standoffish--both because she doesn't trust people, and because she doesn't want to be hurt again. Deep down she cares greatly for those close to her, and even sometimes smiles--not that you'll see it and live to tell anyone about it.
