Shy yet intelligent, Nettle is a quiet monster who has a lot more to her than he lets one in on. Being a fan of the unnatural/weird/unknown, they are extremely passionate about learning about the world they live in, how it ticks, and picking it apart at the seams to see just what he can uncover. Extremely literate (though they can only read through braille, as the way his vision works he cannot see the outlines of letters on a page), creative, and easily driven/hyper-fixated on interests she may have. While she may be reserved and doesn't often speak unless spoken to, getting them started on their interests will cause Nettle to do a complete 180 and show his true colors as the innovative and free spirit he tends to be. Memory is also sharp as a tack, and while she struggles with stammering (which is not due to any nervousness inherently, they just always stumble over their words regardless), he can recite to you in detail about all the (plant)life in Waterfall, along with what few they know in Hotlands, Snowdin, and new home, along with stating various recipes for healing various ailments monsters may have. On the subject of healing, Nettle also is more of a lover than a fighter and often tends to give too much love and pour their pitcher bone dry whilst overflowing the cups of others. This works well for being a healer, as one must be compassionate in such a field. Time has made her skillful, though within what few personal relationships she has, it ends up wearing him down fast and causing Nettle to give too much and become incredibly drained whilst sacrificing his own wellbeing in the process. This makes them too clingy in an honest attempt to show they care and has unfortunately ended up burning quite a few relationships with others, resulting in Nettle preferring to remain tightly woven within their interests and job rather than seeking out any sort of friendship anymore.

Fun Facts:
- Nettle's glasses DO actually do something! Since their vision is mainly compromised of seeing all black with white outlines defining everything around her, the glasses make the lines he sees less "blurry".

- The butterfly Nettle is often depicted with is more than just a random butterfly! It's one Nettle has "befriended", and will lead Nettle to any sort of monster (or human alike, species has never been a concern for Nettle regardless of what the king has declared) in need of healing.
 
- Wherever Nettle goes, they tend to leave inky footprints behind! These wash off extremely easily/generally are easy to avoid, though they are poisonous! (Nettle always has his own cure on hand in case of anyone... ingesting it somehow).
