Chantal doesnt use much magic, as her sword skill is more than enough to keep any would-be attackers at bay. When she does it is usually combat based.

The Captain of the Royal Guard, Chantal is one of the most powerful people in the Underworld. she can beat almost anyone in a sword fight, and has been the head of the guard longer than most people can remember. She is very close with Life, as they tend to deal with problems together. It is rumored she is the only person to beat Life in a sword fight. After Nefeli got her wish, she decided to teach her how to use a sword. they have trained together ever since.
Chantal entered the Underworld long ago. She had been a master swords woman in life, and continued to be one in death. one day she marched up to Alilam's castle and demanded to see him. he accepted, and for an unknown reason, either because he respected her spirit, bravery, or her swords skill, he offered her a wish.. She wished to be able to help protect the Underworld. (This is the only known wish he has given out that has not involved magic, as he immediately made her head guard.)
Very few people know that she twirls her sword/knife when nervous .
Chantal was struct by a spear in the first battle she was in.
She wears a simple grey jacket over a purple shirt, with jeans. she always has a sword strapped to her back or waist
Chantal has incredible self control. She will still kill you if you mess with anyone she knows, but she will do it as neatly and calmly as humanly possible
Chantal is motivated by the beauty she has seen in the Underworld, and the want to protect it. Her greatest fear is that she will let it down.
