- a shard of salubritas is implanted in theodore against his consent, beginning the transformation. a vessel-less salubritas requires a physical form to ascend to independent godhood, but because theodore is so heavily resistant, they have to break him down first. is incapable of physically harming anyone as it goes against their virtue... so they're manipulative and prone to underhanded tactics to find loopholes. "i didn't technically hurt theodore if i goaded him into harming himself to create a window for possession" type beat
- wields a staff akin to the caduceus; it's gold, wound with serpents, and has butterfly wings at the tip
- most of the 'wholesomeness' part of their virtue comes from theodore himself. theodore, upon possession, feared losing the better parts of himself, so he purged those memories into butterflies, which is what the party had to collect in the campaign as they adventured. each butterfly associated with salubritas is a representation of a party member
