    Skin was normal, once, but a run-in with a mad scientist of the name of Dr. Hauser permanently changed that. He was subjected to genetic experiments that altered his cellular composition, granting him immortality and volatile black blood.

    Eventually Skin escaped into city slums where it now haunts alleyways and pesters any unlucky stranger that happens to encounter it for its own amusement.

    His ideas of fun are a bit extreme, leaning towards violence and manslaughter, but in a silly and lighthearted way. Although he still feels pain, he doesn't mind dying very much on account of his tendency to not stay dead for very long. He's a shameless flirt to guys he finds cute, and is, undeniably, a bit of a slut.

    Due to its genetic oddities, Skin's scar tissue is black, which left it devoid of facial features when it decided to sever itself from its past ties and identity by literally defacing itself. It avoids sunlight, partly because it's suseptible to getting burned quickly, but also because of its fear of daytime. He also forms hardened blood spikes out of his skin when wounded or if he's particularly emotionally unstable. These fall off harmlessly, and may also be broken off for a quick makeshift weapon.

    Despite Skin and Hauser's destructive relationship and his own choice to flee, something continues to linger between the two...
