Keira

Keira is the first and original concept for a main character for Montressa. Over time i became more attached to Sam as a character and he unexpectedly became the main character for the whole thing, along with Nate and another robot, Rain.
It was never my intention to leave Keira behind especially since she began this all, back when Montressa was more steam punk than cyber punk. However i now aim to make her a good character willing to help Sam and friends in the story.
She was originally downgraded to be Sam's cousin due to their similar appearance, but now they're siblings in hope of them being closer much like my own sister irl.

Keira is extremely handy, when she and Sam grew up together she always took on the dirtier jobs a lot easier than Sam. From an early age Keira wanted to take after her mechanic father and take over the business.
Her life was set out for her as an older sibling a lot easier than Sam's was. When Sam moved out of the country to study or find a job, Keira stayed behind to her dad. Together the two wanted to expand the business, make it a franchise.
And while it wasnt easy at first, Keira took it upon herself to open another store out of Omega City. It was a conflicting feeling, knowing that part of her dad wanted her to stay behind and work together for as long as he could, but also knowing that he wanted the business to flourish and keep up with the rapidly evolving technology around them.

Omega City was becoming almost as high tech and modern as Delta City at this point, where her brother was. So Keira officially changed her Major to yellow, and moved to Beta City, where wages were low but technical prowess was needed.
Keira now travels between Beta City and Omega City to see her family and help the business. She and Sam often speak together over the phone, but do miss seeing eachother in the flesh.

Keira's greatest work is her robotic dog, K-9. Based on the native species of Kayren (crocodogs). Made from all the best parts she could find in Beta, it is her best friend and companion in the unknown.
