Qian Lifen, Part Time Lamia

Some rough story ideas:

Lifen is part of a clan of Lamia whose ancestor, probably her great-great grandmother or so, got cursed by a witch which forced her to become human, losing her snake tail.
- Since then, each descendants was born with a birthmark resembling a snake tattoo on one of their legs.
- her family has been trying to break the curse to restore their original form.
- ???'s grandmother managed to gain her tail, but only for a few hours a day each day.
Sometime after her thirteenth year, Lifen started changing to her lamia form rather randomly, to the point that she had no control over her snake tail coming out. Only that it would come out for several hours per day. It took her years to control her lamia self.
Today, though she has much better control over it, her snake tail could randomly burst out whenever she experiences strong emotional feelings such as excitement, anger, etc.
She hopes to one day break the curse and to permanently keep her lower snake body.
