Dusk is a forest/dusk hybrid (named after the latter tribe) who has lived at the sea north of the rainforest half his life. He is usually quiet around strangers, but is also goofy, funny and laid back, rarely taking things seriously. After 2 years of living on the beach he comes to meet Whirlwind, an Ice dragon on the run from the Dusk kingdom after escaping capture from King Fallen. Dusk helps Whirlwind and lets him live at his hut, comforting him about not being able to help Azurite, as he too had experienced a form of loss. The pair of them grow to be friends and are eventually found by Solar and Azurite, another year later.
About
Dusk is a dragon who has had everything to lose, but also has everything to gain - he once lived in the Tropical Kingdom alongside his parents (a forest dragon mother and dusk dragon father) and occasionally visiting the rest of the forest dragon tribe. when he was a young dragonet his parents were killed by the dusk dragon queen's guards, their goal being to eliminate any traces of contaminated dusk dragon blood. They primarily intended to get ahold of Dusk, but he escaped to the seadside northeast, toward the Kingdom of the Sea.

Dusk spent 2 lonely years coping with his loss, his solitare helping with the fact that he could think everything over for as long as he liked.

His newly found morals seemed to come true, when he met an ice dragon wandering toward his hut, looking for shelter. Whirlwind explained how he and his best friend had been captured by the dragon who was filling in the NightWing's role of leadership, King Fallen, after leaving the Kingdom of Ice. After Whirlwind asked to stay at Dusk's. hut until he decided what to do, Dusk gladly accepted, making a friend for the first time in years. A year later, after Azurite had escaped his capture along with Solar, they found the pair of them and invited them on their travels.
Trivia
- The Dusk dragons sent out to kill Dusk and his parents were ordered to do so by Fallen, even though Fallen was a prince at the time.
- Dusk can only change the colour of his frill when showing emotion - however he can make himself invisible for other purposes.

Whirlwind [ Close Friend ]
Whirwind is the only friend Dusk had after running from the Tropical Kingdom, making Dusk happy even when he so much looks at him. They are pretty much a great pair
