The Novian scientists have yet to find a true cure, but a way to put the virus in a temporary dormant state, they keep him in a containment room until they can cure the virus completely

-The collar like device around his neck medicates him if it senses the virus is in it's active state
-Has to take medicate himself to sleep or else he'll be awake for weeks slowly loosing what's left of his mind
