Kymopoleia was the first of three children to be born to Margot Westergaard-Tremaine on February 28th, 2005. In the confusion of the birth, he was wrongly assumed to be a girl and named Kymopoleia - though, knowing Cthulhu, it is possible that was intentional. Regardless, the legacy was raised with all the care and affection one would expect a grandchild of Lady Tremaine to have - one of Margot’s children, at that. Though born in the Shattered Realm, he and his sisters soon moved to Ivy Hall on the Southern Isles where they were raised alongside many their other siblings and cousins. Having bonded with dragons not long after their birth, the triplets flew to the island themselves and often spent many long hours above it on the backs of their beasts.

Pole, as his sisters began to call him, was known for his flamboyance, extravagance and in particular his promiscuity. The legacy was known to flirt with ‘anything that stood on two hind legs’, prompting his sisters to give him the nickname to begin with. Many of his partners, if they could even be called that, were servants of Ivy Hall or, on the odd occasion the triplets spent the summer in Celestia, Castle Tremaine. His mother’s favorite of the three, he was able to get away with far more under her watch than that of his grandmother, creating a strained relationship with Lady Tremaine. There was undoubtedly love there, but when her response to his misbehavior was to turn him into a statue, it was hard to see it as such.

When war broke out in the realm, Kymopoleia, Amphitrite and Neptune initially flew to the Shattered Realm to be with their grandmother. After Chernabog betrayed her and killed their uncle Amais, however, they were sent to the Mortal Realm with their brother Alexander, fleeing just as the Epic of Evil’s forces closed in on the Tremaine Estate. Despite the turmoil in the Golden Realm, their time in the Mortal Realm—spent in various Italian cities—was well spent in Alexander’s care. The triplets did not return to the Golden Realm until the centennial celebration of Almaz’s inception, at which point they went back to living at Ivy Hall. Having ‘come of age’ in the eyes of high society, Kymopoleia was eager to leave, but knew the potential dangers that the rest of the realm faced for him, the child of a falseborn.

His chance for escape came when his aunt, Aelfwynn, was claimed by Margot in Hans’ stead. After pleading with her, he was allowed to go to Grimm Academy to keep a keen eye on Wynnie, who Margot viewed as a potential protégée. Kymopoleia quickly grew bored of this mission, however, and, as he was prone to doing, fell into his own strides. In the fall of 2022, the legacy began a relationship with Nettuno, later to be claimed as Anselm and, eventually, Jyoti. He was elected to the Royal Court as King, with his cousin Eirá serving as his hand. As tensions came to a head in the realm over the issue of the faleborns, sparked by August Basset’s death, Kymopoleia lost his witchcraft along with the rest of the academy’s witches. Before it could be returned to him, he died when the Tiana Cottage was set ablaze by Eirá during an attack on the eve of New Year’s Eve. He was seventeen years old, only one of the Triune’s countless casualties.
