Born as the only child to Sea and Harbor, End is a quiet and direct unicorn-cat hybrid from the east coast. Despite there being an abundance of colonies littering the seashore, End never lived among them, as his father was a solitude, and his mother maintained her unicorn heritage of living in relative reclusion with her family. Though, at a year old, Harbor encouraged his son to go on an Awakening, something he himself benefitted from. While Sea was sad to watch her son go, she was happy that he was going to find his own identity. Now, End is a solitude who lives in a wide, open field on a lakeside.
"Do you ever miss your home?" End looked over at the young cat, a wanderer barely older than a year. He wasn't much older, he knew, but that didn't matter to the cat. So why should it matter to him?
"Not particularly," End pondered aloud.
"I miss mine," the cat whimpered, pressing their fluffy flank to End's much shorter pelt.
"Then why don't you go home?" End muses, knowing the wanderer was unable to tell whether the uni-cat hybrid was looking at them or at the lake spread out before them.
"I can't, it's not how Awakenings work. Didn't they ever tell you that?"
"No. But then again, where I come from, no one ever really missed home."
