Sedna tends to take care of herself, eating healthy and doing exercises, though sometimes she is a bit too tough with her own health, making perhaps too much exercise, more than what she can actually handle, or having eating troubles. So there are periods that her body is more weak, and can get sick easily, but most of the times she is pretty fine

Her posture is always good, she takes care of seeming formal and elegant, yet not too rigid, as it could show that she was a closed up person. Though she tends to change depending on the person, if they see they are uncomfortable or anything around her

Her diet tends to be balanced and very controlled, having a list for the food she needs to eat every day, and the times she will eat. This is more to control herself to forget to eat anything for a long time, setting up alarms in her phone, otherwise she will start to skip the diet, and eat whenever she feels like, that would be probably two times a day luckily, and eat whatever she grabs

She doesn’t tend to stay up too late, unless she is watching a movie or into a book a lot, even so, she makes sure to not exceed too much of her sleep hour. Usually has around a pillow or a plushie to hug, since for her, that’s the way she sleeps better, but it wouldn’t be weird seeing her sleeping in any other way, in fact, she sometimes has fell asleep on the floor, out of choice

As a swimmer and model, she tries her best to maintain her physical health as best as possible, doing exercise, having a balanced diet, etc… She doesn’t really struggle much with physical health unless she has a recurrent episode of her mental struggles, in that case, her body tends to get gradually weaker, to the point sometimes of passing out in certain moments of the day

Her mental health is not as good as she tends to show, struggling with Dysthymia and Restrictive Anorexia Nervosa, it tends to be very hard for her to keep up the activities she likes to do, or keep generally in good health. Sedna is very aware of it, for that reason she pushes herself to do exercise, to go enjoy her time with her family, anything that can keep her mind busy and not shrink into this troubles, making as well positive and hopeful remarks, as a way to patch out her bad thoughts

Diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa

Her sister was the main one who did notice about Sedna’s behavior related to food, how there were times where she barely ate, or directly rejected the food, or when sometimes she asked about how she looked with certain clothes with the belief that she gained weight. Sedna didn’t become self-aware of it until a period of her life where she could pass out in certain moments, or noticing how weak her body was. It was at that moment when they decided to tell her dad about it so they could check on her, and as it was feared, they diagnosed her with Anorexia Nervosa, specifically Restrictive, as she doesn’t binge-eat and purge. Sedna rejected to take any medicine, so they decided to treat her with psychotherapy, where her family had to control her eating to make sure she could gain weight and make her mood better

Diagnosed with Major Depression

As she started to go to therapy from time to time, they started to notice how even if Sedna was properly in a good health state, she still show some symptoms like insomnia and fatigue, but also not being able to concentrate or make basic decision, and feeling guilty about everything that has been happening the last few months. For this, they started to talk with Sedna more about her personal life, getting to know how she barely had anyone to call a decent friend, also discovering how in those periods, she was struggling with cyberbullying in her social media, letting them read the comments and messages she received. It explained not only how she developed her anorexia, but also depression. Again, when Sedna was informed about it, she rejected the medication, and preferred to just go with psychotherapy. They were not sure how depression worked with her, so they diagnosed her with Major Depression while they get to know if it was only something temporal, or it will last for a long period

Diagnosed with Dysthymia

As the weeks passed, it seems like her depression was constant, but not as severe as she was diagnosed. Because of this, they finally diagnosed her with Dysthymia. and as before, Sedna kept her treatment, adding now the talking with her family more about her struggles, something she didn’t like much, but she was told that for her own good, it was the best, and her family supported her with it

Sedna is a religious person, not in extreme/strict ways, but it is true that she does believe in God. She has been Christian ever since she was young, mainly because her parents believed in it too, but she does like to believe that there is a major power above them. Tends to pray at night before going to sleep, mainly to keep her family’s health and happiness

For her, there are actions that can be considered right or wrong, but not people who are completely good or bad. Not a pure white, not a pure black, just shades of grey. This is mainly why she doesn’t tend to believe that some people are just bad, perhaps she just fears them, but doesn’t really think that they are pure bad, there is always something behind those actions that triggered them, and she does understand that, she won’t agree with what they do, but nonetheless understands them

To get to be a Professional Mermaid, she needed to learn and obtain a diving license. Thanks to this, she is comfortable around water, as she can manage it without problem, and acquired some extra skills like holding her breath for a while, fast swimming, etc…

Like diving, she also had to learn basic first aids. Even if she can’t handle much big wounds, Sedna can push herself to assist people until a professional can manage better the situation

She used to love sing random songs with her family when they all could spend quality time together. Though as she grew up, Sedna tried to learn how to properly sing, which she was able to do, but because of her own insecurities, she avoids doing it unless it is necessary due to work, or someone from her family invites her to do it

Sometimes, Sedna used to be overdramatic on purpose, in a joking way when talking with her family, mainly with her sister to piss her off. Then, when she started to work for kids, she had to learn more about pretending for her role. This intensified even more when she had to train herself several skills for her Mermaid job

Her mother’s family developed a greater ability to hear sounds around them since most of them can’t use their sight. This is something Sedna doesn’t usually mentions, though she is not afraid of using it in some situations. Even so, this ability is not as great as it could be, since she barely uses it, and just makes her a bit more sensitive to certain sounds

Sedna has a big control of her emotions for almost any situation, doesn't matter how bad her mood is. Though it is true that when she doesn't release those bad emotions for too long, she can become either too impulsive or depressive

Ever since she was young, Sedna has been always a caretaker for her little sister, and sometimes for her mother too. She acted like that all of pure instict, and tends to do with anyone, doesn't matter if they get along with her or not

Sedna can handle not eating for a very long time, and get satisfied with small rations. This is something that she had from always, but developed to handle it for even longer times because of her eating disorder

I feel like words can have a big impact in someone’s mind, more like any punch someone could get. Physical hurt is something you can easily solve, it will go away with time, but words? Oh sweetheart, it will follow you the rest of your life, you may forget what the person told you, but perhaps because of what they said, you gained some insecurity or fear. I don’t wish to accidentally give someone an inner problem because I worded something bad, which could be possible, so I prefer to avoid being too blunt or strong with my vocabulary in case I say something that could be misunderstood. I never mean any harm to the other, and I hope to never cause some damage

Of course, it’s something natural, why wouldn’t I? Though, I don’t like much when the conversation goes the masochist/sadist way, in heavy ways. I try to handle it, and I respect if someone does like to do that stuff, but I don’t think I’m the correct person so talk with about that things, as I don’t understand much about it, neither I like it

If you mean me getting married, well, it’s something that doesn’t worry me much, neither getting a couple or anything. I’m just living my life, and perhaps some day I’ll just meet someone and we end up together, or perhaps not! I let destiny decide what to do with my love life, as I don’t really mind much what happens with it
