Origins: Abhurite (Abhuri for short) emerged later than Amethyst from kindergarten technology which had been lost to a hurricane (so they came from the ocean). Abhuri has yet to meet another gem but does engage somewhat with humans, Earth fauna, and tries to befriend corrupted gem monsters with mixed success. They have little to no knowledge of what they are or of Homeworld but are somewhat curous about it.
Personality: Flirtacious, curious, can be very expressive or completely obfuscate their enthusiasm (depending on context), sardonic, crude, outwardly capricious but deep-down has an unwavering loyalty to their values
Location: Currently lives in a burrow-like setup in an abandoned quarry near a stream and woods which Abhuri regularly leaves to head into a local city. The den they have made is full of art and books as well as various spices.

*Note: Abhurite is named for the area it was found, the Abhur/Obhur region in Saudi Arabia. I pronounce my gemsona Abri ('a' as in "bay" or 'a' as in "law") but this is very incorrect and I believe actual pronunciation is closer to Ab.hur.i where 'a' is like British "father" and the 'h' is pronounced. That being said I'm not an Arabic speaker so this is probably also wrong.
