- B'gyle is a man of few words, but beneath his fairly rough exterior is a soft heart. He has a wealth of love for those around him, specifically his cousins who treat him as a sibling despite his mixed heritage.
- He likes to tinker on things during his free time and specifically likes to make visits to the Garlond Ironworks crew whenever possible to see the latest in their magitek advancements.
- Backstory:
- B'gyle Tia's mother was a Garlean spy sent to infiltrate and provide regular updates to the Garlean Empire about the civil state of Ala Mhigo. However, after meeting B'gyle's father, she fell in love and defected. The two eloped and B'gyle's mother became pregnant soon after.
- B'gyle was born just before the Garlean Empire invaded Ala Mhigo. As a known traitor, B'gyle's mother was forced into hiding, taking refuge with the Ala Mhigan rebellion groups. Not wanting to risk B'gyle's life should she be caught, his mother surrendered him to another member of the Boar Miq'ote tribe, who brought B'gyle aboard The Golden Navigator. B'gyle's father also remained behind in Ala Mhigo to stand against the invasion, before disappearing. He's presumed to have died either in the invasion itself or have been captured and conscripted by the Garleans. His fate remains unknown to this day.
- B'gyle, like many of the other younger miq'ote, was raised primarily on the ship and quickly learned how to use a firearm to compensate for a lack of aetheric manipulation. He was also gifted a bandana by the other members of the crew in order to help him hide his third eye. While not ashamed of it, it's undeniable that the third eye invites unwanted hate and prejudice, which B'gyle would gladly do without.
- B'gyle currently serves as a sharpshooter on Wuntwilfwyn's Revenge.

- General Notes:
- His Garlean name is Brutus viator Aelius. He prefers to go by B'gyle though.
- Due to being half-Garlean, B'gyle Tia has inherited many of the traits associated with the race. This includes the presence of the Garlean Third Eye, which grants them better spacial awareness and thus makes them an extremely skilled sharp shooter. Additionally, however, B'gyle also inherited the Garlean's inability to manipulate aether. Thus all of their machinist tech is supplemented by magitek.
