Family: A wife, and a brother in law, as well as seventeen children. Ten boys, seven girls.
Relationship Status: Married.
Sexuality: Straight

Clothing: While in public, Atheus wears an attire consisting of a very fancy red cape with white fluffy material adorning the very top of it- with his family crest in gold on the back of it, in addition to wearing very fine and lavish looking silks. Typically they are also red much like his cape, no part of skin on his body save for on his face is ever visible at any given time meaning his attire is very poofy and slightly too big for him to ensure this stays the case. It is extremely bulky and hot, making summer time in the pocket dimension especially brutal for him. The boots however are the exact opposite, being far too tight in order to keep with a 'style'. The shoes being more like triangles, they get thinner as they move towards the toes.

The clothing could be almost described as like a body suit, purple in coloration that is made of a fine fluffy fabric that is very poofy around the stomach, shoulders and knees that makes the fabric almost 'bulge out' in these places.

However due to his extreme dislike for this kind of 'royal' attire, whenever he isn't in the public eye he dresses very casually. Typically only wearing very basic pants black fabric pants and thin shirts, normally also black or white, while also adorning a very thin and basic white lab coat he wears over top, especially whenever he is working on his tests and research. Normally after having to wear the previous outfit he will go shoe-less all day due to the discomfort his feet will be in.

Personality: Atheus is an extremely curious person by natural, even when he was young he always had an innate curiosity for everything and how things worked. When magic was introduced to him, he didn't say- "Woah teach me to do that!" he said more along the lines of "Teach me how that works.". His natural curiosities have lead to him making many scientific breakthroughs, that and his willingness to do more than questionable practices on himself and others in the name of his field.

However Atheus does not like compassion, no if anything he cares a little too much about the well being of people, it is just he has a simple philosophy- 'If you have to hurt one or a few people to save hundreds, you hurt those few people.'. He doesn't like to hurt or kill people, but if he has to do it for the greater good of others he will do so, this is no more prevalent than in his own children whom all but one have been crippled by his own experimentation to try and find a way to get their home back. While he understands in the long run sacrifices have to be made for the greater good, he doesn't sleep well at night knowing that he has made life much more difficult for his children and as such tries to make their lives as simple and pleasant as possible.

Appearance: Atheus doesn't...look that old at all, he looks like a man in his late twenties or early thirties. In fact his two eldest sons look much older than he does. He has a semi-smooth complexion, short but thick and smooth black hair always neatly kept and very youthful eyes full of energy and curiosity. He doesn't have any noticeable scars or birthmarks, or any facial hair. In fact he seems to lack body hair completely.

Important Extra Details: Aethus can't be poisoned, or healed, nor can he get sick, he is crippled by any kind of cold magic. Nor affected by any kind of Chronological event or attack. He cannot age, and does not need to eat or drink.

Biography

Aethus' was born on Haycleon seven years before the End of All Incident , to parents who for a long time struggled to conceive a child. However after an experimental treatment the Void Order preformed, they were able to have their child they named 'Aethus'.

From a young age Aethus proved he was no ordinary child, he was quick to learn magic but also had an extreme curiosity for it, and all things in life for that matter. Aethus wasn't satisfied with just learning magic, he needed to be told how it worked, why it worked, and what kind of an effect it had not just on him when he used it- but on the target of his magic. In all walks of life Aethus experienced he had to find out why it did what it did, this childlike curiosity to figure out the secrets and function to everything has not left him even in his advanced years.

He did not have any friends growing up but that was of his own choice, he found he had to dumb a lot of things down when talking to people and often either intimidated people or bored them with his vast amount of information he knew that most children found to be boring or uninteresting, not that he minded since he found he could get a lot more work done if he didn't have anyone around he had to slow down for.  However with other adults especially those in the Void Order he got along with rather well who were extremely impressed and surprised he was so intelligent for someone so young, especially his parents who always expressed how proud of him they were.

Life went on and his parents and the rest of the order continued to learn just how...odd he was. His magic aura was familiar yet unlike any other they had felt before. Void was there, something they knew quite well but there was a hint of...something else in the background, something they couldn't figure out or really...explain. More oddities occurred when after a few years his parents realized he never got sick, even when they got colds or flu's they never seemed to ever pass onto him,

Unbeknownst to anyone, even Aethus himself that through his unique and experimental conception treatments that he was changed, his intelligence and his impressive power from a young age was due to these modifications. In fact, he had been altered in such a way that his soul could bind to a magic that no one eve remembered anymore, Atalon Magic. The precursor to all other magics, and a magic that would allow him to bend and create any kind of magic he wished.

However about a week after his seventh birthday tragedy struck, three of the Void Archpriests betrayed the entire order in one swift stroke and crippled them, and then attempted to destroy the world and consume it to obtain the power required to reset the entire timeline and rule it unopposed. the Void Order threw everything that had to stop them and their destruction they rained down. Their efforts eventually resulted in their defeat, but the peace hardly lasted a day before the Terrans turned on the order- their campaign spearheaded by the Light Mage Accord.

Within a week both his parents were dead, who died trying to protect him. Aethus was cornered when he managed to tap into the unknown magic bound to his soul- and struck the Terran's with an attack unlike anything anyone had ever experienced, such an attack killed two of them, the other three survived- but many would claim it was no act of mercy to keep them that way. The Atalon Magic had ripped their very souls apart, preventing them from binding to the magic in their body and in the air around them- meaning they were not only crippled for life but they could no longer use magic like everyone else could.

All they would be able to feel is emptiness where they could once feel power and unison.

Aethus was shocked to learn he could do something like this. And scared, but also fascinated. However he didn't have to time to do anything with it as he had to run, run as fast and as far as he could. He ran, ran for a month- however by that time he was the only one left. Left without options and no realistic means of survival he began to tap into his newly found magic to try and figure out what he could do with it. Find some way to turn the tables and if anything, just find a way to save his own life so he could keep everything going.

However as he went into hiding and everything began to finally calm down it began to hit him just what had happened, he was still young despite his vast power and intelligence. He'd lost everything, everything...to a group of people who had never helped him or the rest of the order out in defend their world- and when they stepped up to do so they were stabbed in the back when everything was said and done. They'd taken his home, his family, his research, his magic order, everything...

Everything.

His emotions hit him all at once, he felt like his very body was going to rip apart with the amount of sadness, regret, anger, hatred and loathing he felt all at once. He wanted...he wanted SOMEONE to pay for what they did but he couldn't figure out how he could make them pay. Through his anger and desire to make them atone for their actions, and his extreme emotional feelings at the time he managed to tap further into his Atalon Magic- making the discovery that one's desires...makes the magic stronger. Those who strive harder to obtain their goals and were extremely motivated by any kind of emotion behind it seemed to increase the magic's power.

But he couldn't figure out how, magic may be bound to your soul, your life force. But it wasn't...sentient. How could it be...motivated to preform better based on your desire and your own motivation? That did not make sense to him. However at this time he didn't have the means nor time to figure out exactly what was going on with his new magic, he had to find a way out- a way to escape this world completely. But he was out of options, no one was left alive to teach him how to do that...he knew the strongest of the Void Order could but...but they were either all gone or dead so how was he suppose to be able to do that?

It took him a few months but he found his answer.

He found out that his Atalon Magic while not as powerful as it was way back in the ancient times- his magic was indeed a formulation of all other magic types. He simply had to find the correct one needed to find if there was anyone left in the Void Order- or just a safe timeline or world or pocket dimension to hide in until he could find a way to exact vengeance upon these...these monsters, who had taken everything from him.

He found his way, and found there were survivors- of not just Void Mages but also the sentient beings they had brought here over the years in a pocket dimension, and through much hardship and training, finally managed to break through the dimensional barrier- and crossover into their pocket dimension.

Aethus found himself in the pocket dimension with everyone else after they were forced to flee their world, Aethus at this time was eight years old. No one believed his story at first of what he had to endure and survive back there but when they saw his scars, when they saw his conviction and realized he hadn't been seen anywhere until this point- they realized he was indeed telling the truth. Aethus never stuck around with the bulk of the group for long however, instead deciding he would venture out on his own.

He found quickly however that this...pocket dimension wasn't that big.  It just...ended after a certain point with a large black void surrounding it. He decided he'd set up on the outskirts of the void and do his research, then he realized something...another...important detail. He couldn't...remember the last time he ate, or had to drink, or sleep... he had been so occupied with this...this horrific event and never felt hungry tired or thirsty that he just...forgot. Come to think of it he...realized he never really knew when to eat sleep or drink and...and normally just did whenever his parents alerted him it was time for a meal or bed.

He wondered if it had something to do with his magic.

He continued his studies, laying out in the outskirts of the Voided Pocket Dimension, he did more research into himself and found...something incredible. He had these small, tiny living organisms in his blood that seemed to...well they seemed to enhance his very being! They kept his cells going, they removed his old scars over time, they could completely repair and feed any of his cells. They seemed to...enhance his magic, they seemed to do just about anything and everything. Was there anything they couldn't do? They acted as anti-bodies that will destroy any virus or toxin that entered the blood, they could replicate indefinitely meaning he'd never run out- and they even replaced his old dying cells...with one completely new and healthy, without any...any kind of DNA decay, without any kind of...miscalculation or error.

He couldn't, age past a certain point. His body would eventually hit its prime, and he wouldn't physically age past that.

Years and years went by without him really noticing, his lack of contact with any other living thing meant time moved a lot faster than he knew, always so caught up in his research and never ever stopping he managed to continue to uncover and unlock many different secrets about himself, about his magic, about these organisms. He finally decided to give them a name, he named them 'Arus Cells'.

Next, he began to travel through time. Timelines to be specific, he couldn't alter his own time as it was incredibly easy to create paradoxes and other timeline catastrophes when meddling with your own timeline, but other ones? That was easy, you were not altered by the changes to other timelines since you were never really there to begin with, you were not suppose to exist- there was no chronological impact that could affect you from anything you did in a timeline where you did not belong.

He began to study and do tests, and found that in all the timelines that existed- his was one of only few timelines where the End of All Incident occurred. His was where it was stopped,  but he found there were ones where it went through fully and the world was destroyed and then reset, others where one or more of the three died, others where the world was reset and they ruled- others where it was reset and they were eventually destroyed by a hero of that timeline. However he found that in ninety three percent of all timelines- the Void Mage order was betrayed at somepoint during the existence of the timeline.

Now normally that wasn't too odd seeing as in the vast and confusing concept of infinity, that was bound to happen- but he found of those ninety three percent of the timelines where the Void Order was betrayed- eighty eighty of that percent occurred at around the exact same time with only a few hours, days or months difference at any given time. And, it seemed to happen regardless if the End of All incident occurred in that timeline or not.

This angered Aethus, who now believed that the Terrans and the Light Mages were planning on betraying them from the start, and had planned it out all along and the End of All incident was just...just a horrific event that just so happened to occur at around the same time. The anger and hatred he felt towards these people, he wanted them to pay...but he had to figure out how he'd do that first- in his timeline.

When he returned he had found he had been gone doing his research and studying timelines for the better part of nine hundred and fifty years. He was insanely shocked to figure this out, realizing that his perception of time had been extremely altered, he wasn't sure if that was due to his magic, because of his time in other timelines, or both. All he knew was it had not felt like nine hundred and fifty years.

He found the people were in great turmoil, all hope seemed lost to them since they had been here for so long. So many people estimating they only had about three hundreds year left before their pocket world would begin to destabilize- and they'd either be lost forever- scattered across time and space or be forced back into Haycleon where the Light Mages would take their lives all over again.

Aethus wouldn't stand for this.

Aethus began pitching his campaign to people, telling them he had the knowledge and a plan that would obliterate the Terran blight from Haycleon and would secure them a permanent new home. Normally such extremist ideals as completely wiping out a race of people would have been shot down but everyone was desperate at this point, and they began to hail Aethus as one of their new leaders who'd bring about their salvation. Aethus never really shared the details of his plan, but he had one.

He was going to try and breed an army of super soldiers, using the organisms he had to create an unstoppable army to destroy the Terrans who not only took everything from him, but everything from everyone else here. And in other timelines, had taken much from many other people as well.

He continued his research and awhile later, met a girl named Juvia whom he later married. Originally he had just married her because he needed someone to conceive his children, but later grew rather found of her and relied on her a lot to help keep him sane and focused during his darker days. He'd teach her all he could about Void Magic, and other timelines. A together, they began to forge the steps needed to retake their home- and finally live in peace without the constant worry of the world they lived in collapsing on them.

Trivia

Atheus would like to have more children, however due to his wife suffering more and more miscarriages as time goes on he doesn't have the heart to put her through it anymore.

Atheus considers Arcus to be the most successful out of his tests, even though he can't use Atalon Magic- he isn't crippled and has reaped almost all of the benefits his Arus Cells- in fact, it is why he is called 'Arcus'.

Aethus worries about Arcus almost more than any of his other children, his brilliance in science can fix almost all of the issues his other siblings are afflicted with- but he can't make Arcus kill people, and the fact he gets so torn up about it and is always so reluctant to do so makes him worry about the future of this project.

The child he worries about the most is Aethia, whom he based her name after his own. Despite all his magic and knowledge he can't find ways to make her body work correctly or help her, which aggravates him and makes him feel extremely guilty anytime he sees her.

Despite what many would assume, Aethus isn't someone who did these things to his children lightly. He constantly paces at night questioning his actions and feeling like the worst person alive, constantly beating himself down for the things he has done for the 'greater good'.

Regardless of how Arcus betrays them or what he does- he won't ever, ever let anyone kill him.
Timeline Differences

In the timeline where Arcus was stolen, he spends a lot of his time trying to find his son- but in the concept of infinite worlds and timelines where he has to view sections of the world bit by bit and compile thousands and thousands of files in data- it is rather...impossible.

When Arcus is found and eventually betrays them his father will continue with his plans, now not understanding his son at all. Especially not with the stories he has told about what kind of a hell they put him through- yet is still able to show them compassion. He can't understand it, he doesn't understand it- and it makes him...second guess if what he is doing is the right thing to do.

In the timeline where Arcus is not taken, but eventually betrays them he will feel rather...hurt and empty, not understanding how his son could side with people who took everything from him- and that his own son whom he had bonded with for years would protect them. He wants to hate Arcus, but just...can't bring himself to do so. He will feel incredibly lost and alone, and despite his children's best efforts to make him continue on with the plan in full force- he will be extremely reluctant, and uncertain of everything.
