Margo is bubbly and high-spirited, but at the same time, she is modest and reserved. She is known to be daydreamy and does not always have her head present in the now. Margo is very affectionate, sometimes too affectionate, as she tends to embarrass her son. She enjoys talking things out no matter the topic, she's always there to listen and offer advice. However, Margo will be quick to challenge if she smells a rat. She is very much a girly girl, but she also has tomboyish interests. Margo doesn't mind getting her hands dirty if a situation calls for it. In fact, she thinks getting messy is all part of the fun. Empathetic and mannerly, it's clear her son takes quite a bit after her.
Backstory
Margo was originally from Kentucky. Her single mother raised her and her two older brothers. Margo inherited her love of clothes from her mother, who was a tailor. As a child, she enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing, catching bugs, and being outside with her brothers. The pretty dresses Margo's mother made for her frequently came back dirty after a day's worth of play. After an incident where Margo accidentally let a frog loose in her classroom, her mother signed her up for violin lessons, attempting to give her a different hobby instead of messing around with little creatures. Although reluctant, Margo taught herself the fiddle between lessons to give her some form of agency over her circumstances.
Before Margo started ninth grade, her mother relocated the family to Swingston Hall City, hoping for better career opportunities for her and her children. She was also hoping Margo would make something of her violin skills. But on the contrary, her daughter grew disinterested in the instrument and gave it away, much to her mother's frustration. Instead, Margo was more attentive to having a career in fashion, so that's what she studied when she went to college. At 20, Margo met Mordecai at a library and was instantly smitten by him. They dated for three years before marrying, and she had Vinyl at 24. She finished college, but her vocational goals were put on hold to take care of her son. However, Margo would willingly do it again for Vinyl because she wanted him to exist.
Physicality
Margo has black shoulder-length hair styled in a round bob. Her eye color is cool gray, her eyelids are black, and her skin is pale white. Margo wears a pair of large wire-framed glasses above her gray button nose. She often wears stud earrings of varying styles, light-colored lipstick, dark nail polish, and her black onyx engagement ring on her left ring finger. Margo has a pear-shaped figure with a small bust, wide thighs, and broad, curvy hips. She dresses in a shirt and overalls for work. Outside of work, she likes to wear dresses and womanly fashion styles.

- Margo is one of the few SSH characters whose exact creation date was recorded. She was created on July 17th, 2015.
- At first, her name was going to be Margret, but with her husband coming later and being named Mordecai, I changed it to avoid similarities with Regular Show.
- Margo originally had a generic office job in the city.
- Margo went through several middle name changes because I honestly kept forgetting them. I finally settled on Frankie as of 2021.
- Margo used to have long hair when she was young, but she cut it short and has worn the bob style since she was 30.
