The both of them living in poor environments while they were growing up, they'd meet each other as early as middle school. Quick to become close friends and remaining together into high school, eventually however, the two boys would find out they shared feelings for each other—soon bringing up the question of being more than friends. Upon nearing the end of high school, their long shared dreams of getting away as far as they could and living a good life evolved into real plans, though in a new light as the two of them would claim each other as partners.

With careful thought and planning after their graduation, the two would be adults when they embark on their journey—running away from home together and off into the night. From there, a long and hard road awaited them as the crushing reality of living on their own grew real and quick. Though as they faced great obstacles and hardships alike, their strong bond and sheer tenacity would pull them through even the most difficult of times. As long as they had each other, nothing could take them down—as ■■■■ would always cheer on. It would be some years after as the two of them started to find a way of living, the nights growing less uncomfortable and the two having a decent place to stay inside. One day, however, Luneile asks if he would like to go outside with him one night on a walk, straying off into the woods to find a railroad.

Eager to follow by Luneile's side, ■■■■ and him talked and enjoyed the crisp evening air as they made their way out, eventually standing by to see if a train would come their way. Surely enough, just as Luneile had hoped, one sounded off in the distance and filled the air with a excitement. Though as its lights glared off into the quickly closing distance, with just one sudden push did a fight break out between the two star-crossed lovers as ■■■■ found himself desperately lashing back for his life. At the very last moment, Luneile would find himself the one to stumble over his feet and the railroad tracks as the train swept by in a blink after, leaving a terrified and aghast ■■■■ panting for his breath and paralyzed.

Turning back and running until his legs would give out, what had transpired would feel unreal, the very last glimpse of beloved staining all other memories of him. Whatever changed in Luneile that moment? With a broken heart and large parted scar across his face, ■■■■ saw a shattered reflection in every mirror. Life became empty, confused and cold... for without his dearest then, what was his purpose anymore—the very question that would haunt him ever after.
