Soft-spoken, focused, deliberate. Arlo often keeps to themselves and is quite shy, not fond of being the center of attention. Can be very friendly once he's comfortable with someone, though remains reserved and can be easily embarrassed by expressing his feelings. Shuts down during situations of stress when they are unable to maintain control. Loves their job and does it well, struggles to adapt to others' workstyles if they are different than their own.
Arlo works as a control tower operator (set in 1920-1930s ish). Loves planes and aviation, knows everything there is to know about them but hasn't actually been up in the air. Afraid of heights. Tries to avoid coming into contact with a certain pilot who he's developed feelings for, but fails miserably.
