Overview
Ulrich is a life guard who works in a small coast town. The town is mostly active in the summer for touristic purposes, hence his work there. However, when autumn, winter come, the place gets mostly empty, and the population drops to barely 700 individuals. It's said that the city is cursed in any time of the year but summer, when everything get more joyful, mostly because there' s no really someone administrating it when summer season is over. There's poor medical aid, care, laws, power or food for the citizens left there. Ulrich tries to help as he can everyone, and try to fix the town. None has ever dared to ask people why would not they attempt to just move and leave that place behind.
Personality He has a chill personality, stoic most of the time, but really empathic. He's young but acts old and is often not really understood by his peers, but both parts still enjoy eachothers' company. Ulrich is wise, people can look up to him, but he's very immobilized in the present, does not look up to the future and is very pessimistic about it. In fact, he doesn't like or comprehend those who tend to plan their lives with perspectives lasting years. He can generally appear to have little care or interest for his surroundings. He's actually very sweet to everyone, and has a lot of consideration, in the workplace he's always very helpful and alert. The only thing that makes him less impassive to life and apathetic is, indeed, contact with people.
In the winter, tries his best to keep the town afloat. Facing despair and decline it's a very mind-proving duty.
Sometimes, talks with a sea-monster at night, which he callede "Salazar". Ulrich is not sure if Salazar is real, or if it's his mind, but he knows that the creature can't crawl out off the sea.The monster always listen, sometimes talks, and it's huge. Although Ulrich questions if the monster is real, he knows that it has killed someone.
