Rhod is one of God's warriors and has been for his whole life. Early on, he had trouble fitting in with the more ancient angels and was dubbed a greenhorn and very childish since he was prone to acting out, not following orders and focusing on joking around more than his training. It takes the firm hand of an elder angel to finally put him in line and act the part of a reliable warrior. After some time, this relationship goes from stubborn student/mentor to something akin to siblings and Rhod finally finds a place for himself, loyally at this companions side.
However, after thousands of years alongside his mentor Rhod finds his friend ripped away from him, leaving him isolated once again and alone to face the intense burdens of traumatic war by himself.
Abandoned, bitter, confused, terrified and resentful at his turn in fate, Rhod is sucked into the endless cycle of war and loses himself in it, all the while his anguish turning to hate. Hate for his duty, hate for the angels and his God who allowed such unfair judgement and hate for the mentor who was so cruel to offer him solace at last, then abandon him in the blink of an eye.

Only time will tell if Rhod can save himself from his downward spiral, or be lost to his bitterness forever.
