Zinc

In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Zinc is created from some of the contaminated Ooze samples. (After Baron's Lab first blew up some Yokai snuck in and took the remaining Ooze.) Zinc's genetically linked to the turtles because of this, but he has no idea since the lab he was brought up in never registered where the Ooze had come from. So Seku Never knew.

So when Zinc meets his brothers he has no idea their related outside of the Oozquito's. Which he decides to investigate which brings Baron Draxum to his door seeing as Zinc had started to collect them. The turtles find out about Seku's Ex-Job and Zinc starts to question more things about what the lab was really doing. So he tries to figure it out, while hanging out with the turtles. The fact he's related only comes up once Big Mama collects him for her New York Battle Nexus.

So the family becomes aware of him and they all begin to try and figure out what they're going to do with Shredder under the Foots control. Which leads to discussion and Splinter eventually decides to ask how Seky got Zinc and Seku not wanting to tell them things. However they get him to spill when Zinc says his full name and Splinter recognizes his name. Seku had worked at the company and was treated poorly so he decided to go and become a scientist instead which is where he explains the Ooze and Baron Draxum realizes his Ooze had been discovered. They then talk to Splinter about his past and go through the whole trip into his mind and releasing Karai and Shredder. So When this goes down Seku sends Zinc with the boys and Zinc watchs as Seku sacrifices himself to try and buy Splinter and the boys a bit more time sadly though Seku actually dies during this. Giving Zinc time to try and connect with the turtles and their Ninpo. He however gets it to work trying to save Raph with the others. Fully accepting his powers to try and help save their fathers.

This version of Zinc is created in Dimension X under the Krang's experiments. He would have grown up with them and learned to talk in the 3rd person rather than the 1st. Zinc is again saved by Seku. (He's still a scientist.) Sadly though during their escape they ended up running into one of the Shredders Wearhouses and getting caught by them. Zinc is brought to him and Seku tries to refuse joining, so he is captured and Zinc is enlisted in the Foot.

Zinc then meets the turtles during a mission and actually stands up pretty well in a fight against them. However he's overpowered once he's the last man standing. So he retreats and reports back to the Shredder. So Zinc is usually following around a bigger antagonist. (Like TigerClaw or Karai.) Zinc Actually becomes close with Karai once she shows up, while she gets annoyed by him and dislikes his lack of intelegence, she does vent to him and he listens and gives her some actual helpful advice without fully understanding. Which leads her to look into Zinc's story and meeting Seku who warns her about the Krang even though she already knew that by then. Zinc however prefers to follow Karai's orders and see's her like a sister, since she teachs him things and actually shares things with him he's never tried before. Seku actually gets rescued by the turtles when they go to save Karai and they don't fully realize Zinc's related until later when TigerClaw brings him on a mission and Seku see's Zinc for himself.
