fret was born to a pair of musicians, the nickname a double tease for both their childish pout and the way their hands lingered on the neck of an instrument. but as they got older, their temperament soured further, and they do not play stringed instruments anymore. they are solitary, scholarly, tottering primly on fine-boned hooves. they learn knowledge to keep, not share.
