Lillywhite is a passionate man who puts all of his time, effort, and energy into his craft. He tends to obsess over whatever it is he's put his mind to, and largely its his perfumes. He is cool, and confident and rarely shows outward emotion making him difficult to read, but finds it is particularly easy to read and anticipate emotions from others. Lillywhite will put one hundred and ten percent into achieving his goals, even if there is a high chance of failure. He feels he has the ambition and tenacity to follow up failures to turn them into successes.
Lillywhite is a bit obsessed with scents, often trying to push off his perfumes and soaps onto people who don't ask. He will gladly inform you of your own "wretched odors," however. He tends to look down on others especially if they don't seem to want his help, or imply they could do something better without him. Lillywhite is vengeful, and the worst kind too, he lacks empathy for others. So attempts to "get even" usually end up meaning he takes his revenge and vengeance too far.
LIKES: Perfume, Flowers, Budew, Cheese and jam.
DISLIKES: People? Most people. Poor hygiene, know-it-alls, people trying to inform him of things when he can clearly read on his own.
HISTORY
Lillywhite was born in Lumiose Village to a local preacher of Xerneas and his bride. Lillywhite had an uneventful life. His mother died in childbirth. His father resented him for it. Still. Lillywhite would call his childhood a good one. His father worked hard to establish the church, and help build the city, while Lillywhite had free roam of the house and village even as a small child. He remembers exploring art, and painting, and music as the village grew larger and larger with the addition of Pokémon, but despite all the new safety measures popping up, it was still dangerous for a small child to wander on his own. Not to mention the social impact it had on his father.
His father snuck Lillywhite a Pokémon before he was 10. Technically illegal in the city, but the Budew used its sleep powder to keep Lillywhite asleep, so its not like anyone would find out. Lillywhite lost a number of years to sleep, but he swears now he became immune to the Budew's sleep powder. He tells the tale about his father trying to keep him out of trouble, and inadvertently awoke Lillywhite while trying to keep him asleep. Of course he means "awoken" in a metaphorical sense...(you can tell because he begins to wave his hands around at this part of the tale.) Lillywhite assumes something about the Budew's pollen did something to his senses, because his sense of smell is incredibly strong. Much more so than before his sleep filled year.
It became a dream of his to produce the scents he feels unlocked his own senses. He longs to craft a perfume that could do that for everyone, so he's set his sights on perfume making. It was easy enough to get involved in the craft as perfumes are often used in religious ceremonies. Lillywhite became an apprentice, and by 20 had become a master craftsman deciding to open a joint shop with his long time friend, Vanessa.
Lillywhite crafts perfumes and soaps to sell while experimenting with properties of other fruits, plants, and Pokémon to concoct unique scents. His most popular fragrances are rose scented thanks to his Roserade, but he's experimenting with making a perfume from the normally foul smelling nectar of Gloom.
