Étoile is a cheerful guy on the inside, but doesn't often show it, - his mouth is almost always straight, except for when the corners turn slightly upturned when someone nearby makes a particularly funny joke. It IS possible to make him laugh heartily, however, but the number of Elysians who have accomplished it is still in the single digits. He's very shy and doesn't know how to start a conversation for the life of him. Even though Étoile's work is all about sharing love, he finds it difficult to truly connect with someone and is shocked when a stranger shows interest in becoming his friend.
