Nico is not very friendly the first time we talk to him, but in fact he's just too introverted and does not feel like talking to strangers, even Sakura had a hard time trying to talk to him.
Nico has a human friend and only with him does Nico share the feelings he feels.
Nico's appearance and even his name were inspired by animes characters, all to look cool to Sakura.

Nico's parents live on Earth but live in another country, so Nico takes care of himself, his parents send money and pay Nico's apartment, but even so he works and studies a lot.
